Tamara Beck is the Program Coordinator for the Center for Mind, Brain, and Culture at Emory University. She holds a degree in Psychology from the University of Pennsylvania and has attended the Art Institute of Atlanta.
Tamara has been an Emory employee in various roles since 1995, and just celebrated her 10 year service milestone.
Assistant Program Coordinator
Ellie Pourbohloul is the Assistant Program Coordinator at the Center for Mind, Brain, and Culture at Emory University. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Psychology and Comparative Literature from Emory and a Master's degree in Sociocultural Anthropology from UCLA. She has also taught English and cultural studies courses in Turkey through the Fulbright program. Prior to her work at the CMBC, Ellie worked as a clinical research coordinator at the Emory University School of Medicine. Ellie is excited to return to Emory University to support the interdisciplinary initiatives of the CMBC.
Max Wood is a junior at Emory University majoring in Economics and International Studies. He is originally from southern Maine, and recently studied abroad in Amsterdam for a semester. While Max isn’t at the CMBC, he is an Emory Tour Guide, Tour Guide Trainer, Orientation Captain, Wonderful Wednesday Moderator, and University Choir member. After graduation in the Spring of 2018, he hopes to pursue a career in policy or political communications in Washington D.C., as well as continue his education by pursuing a masters degree in a related field.
